Nice acclaim mate, its so nice to see one being used on a day to day basis!! i had 3 of these cars, a red HLS, a red HL a mettalic green HLS, they never let me down!! a bullet broof honda twin carb 1335 cc engine under the bonnet, this car was a re-badged honda civic, it helped save the ailing austin rover group, i had the 213 after the acclaim which had the 12 valve honda ballade engine (in fact it was a re badged ballade!!) then the 416 after it was a concerto in disguise!! the later 400 bubble shape was a civic but all had rover K series engines fitted except for the 416 SLI auto which was a honda engine and gearbox......my acclaim got me into hondas, and now 20 years on i still drive them, and to say they are reliable is a understatement! anyway, was at a show the other day and just had to take a picture of this...... its like new and is always at shows!! i never tire of looking at it!!
